  1. No snow here, uh-huh
Sunshine, blue skies and cool temps
    Miss snow a little.

Your haiku is wayyyy better than mine. 😀

    • I am jealous although I do like winter until Christmas is over (which is really only 4 real days of winter since fall ends on the 21st–ha ha)
      I like your haiku–

  2. That was lovely! No snow at all here (which is unusual) but plenty of bone-chilling cold. I’m heading out to class wearing five layers and I’m still not warm enough.

    • it is kind of unusual here–actually there is no usual here–sometimes we have almost no snow–sometimes lots

  3. sugary dusting
    Glistening frozen cloak
    crystal harbingers

We had our first snow this morning!! Feels like January brrrr

    Love your haiku. Lovely.

    • It is not polite to come on someone else’s blog and write a haiku that is hundred times better than mine–your is just beautiful –Lou

      • I meant it as a gift. And it’s not better. Just different.
        My apologies and thank you

      • no apologies necessary–I loved yours

    • Love your haiku totally better!

  4. This haiku was absolutely beautiful 😀

    Cheers

  5. Although not happy about the timing of the 1st snow (I think it’s too early) –
I do like your haiku! 😉

  6. The first snow is fun but it gets a little tiresome when the snow piles are over 6′ at each side of the driveway. Love your poem.

    • I can imagine it would get tiresome–I would like it to disappear the day after Christmas
