Spirits high; hopes soar;

First day of school.

(Sometimes you can say in 13 syllables what cannot be stretched to 17. Haiku is not as rigid as we have come to believe.)

      How did the first day go for your kids–my youngest kid was back at college–on Mondays he has nine hours of classes!
