I’m probably the only English teacher who suffers from an aneurysm whenever she attempts poetry. Hehe.
poetry was not my favourite way to express myself for a long time–now I do not adhere to any rules–I just write it and find it freeing
I find I like simple poetry that has little or nothing to hide–must be because I was an english major and had to tear so many apart–some so dense you had to make up your own meaning
