Yesterday, I wrote about trying to remain positive in the face of things I had no control over. The responses I got were absolutely phenomenal. If you are feeling a bit disheartened—go read the comments from my post yesterday. With few exceptions they are positive and life-affirming and show what a wonderful community we have here in blog world (and beyond).
Here is just one~
photosfromtheloonybin said: We all have up days and down days, but you know me well enough by now to know that I believe in being as positive as possible because life is just too damn short!! Here’s a quote that I found tonight that I think you might enjoy:
“Optimism is the most important human trait, because it allows us to evolve our ideas, to improve our situation, and to hope for a better tomorrow.” ~ Seth Godin
Cindy is the voice behind photosfromtheloonybin, and is wise beyond her years. Yes, Cindy I do enjoy the quote—it takes optimism to a higher level, one that I think cannot almost not be countered.
You are all my Bliss – thank you.

Hoping for a better tomorrow is certainly optimistic, and if today is terrific, let’s celebrate that too. Here’s hoping for a grand day today.
I like that – celebrate the terrific today!
I need to create some of that optimism. I haven’t been feeling it much lately.
have a handful of what I got yesterday — it will make you feel better–it certainly did me!
Oh LouAnn, you just brought such a smile to my face :). Thank you! It makes me feel so good to think that I was able to help you yesterday, even a little bit. That’s what friends are for right? And one day I might need you to perk me up :). When you think about it, if we are optimistic, then the people around us will hopefully become optimistic too, and then it’s just a win win situation. We need optimism to be like a cold – highly contagious!!! Hope the news this week is positive LouAnn.
It is an ongoing process — but with help from friends like you, I will get through. 🙂
I’m out of town, Lou Ann, sorry that I didn’t get to it. I’m gonna go take a look now. You and I are probably still feeling the same thing, so any great comments will be beneficial for me too.
Thinking of you and sending you all my love!!
Lisa
Xoxo
Thanks Lisa–and I hope the comments help you out like they did me. I consider you one of my constant boosters and hope you consider me the same xo- Lou
Lou, thank you — your bring some sunshine into my days as well. 😉
aw shucks! thanks Brigitte. 😉
I hope you have an answer and end to this problem soon.
me too–thanks for your good thoughts
Collectively when we all join in and share our good thoughts with one another it is bound to overide the negative.. 🙂
I think you are right — thanks for joining in and sharing–I can always count on you 🙂
😉
You receive what you extend…and you give to so many encouragement and friendship… You are ‘bliss’ to others and I consider myself a recipient many times over…Will be remembering you in prayer (have already) Diane
oh my goodness, you are so sweet, thank you — you bring tears to my eyes Diane – 🙂
This bliss thing you’re doing for the year? Optimism and positivity at its best, in my opinion. Coming together to support each other is just one of the things this blogosphere seems to inherently know how to do without even trying much.
it comes naturally for so many–maybe that is why they are drawn to blogging–or we are drawn to bloggers who are supportive
It’s a gift when we realize the gift of our friends…
Yes it is, and you are one of my gifts…………
