  1. LouAnn,
Thank you for the linkback, and support, which I shouldn’t be surprised coming from your magnificence™.
    Le Clown

    • how sweet — I like how you get behind things we should support

      • LouAnn,
I’m the annoying “Activist” Facebook friend so many articles refer to… But I have learned to live with it.
        Le Clown

      • annoying and Activist do not seem to go together — I need people like you to prod me into doing what is right–so remain yourself in all your magnificence

  2. I am surprised there is still so much political wrangling over equality issues, when you meet people in the street and talk to friends it’s clear the average person would like equality for everyone. As my son so aptly stated this morning, when a group of people still has to look to the Supreme Court to give them an equal opportunity to enjoy the same things others do, we now longer live in the land of the free.

    • it is surprising I must agree — both Canada and the U.S. are the land of the free “to an extent”

  3. Live and let live, love and let love. “The only stable state is the one in which all men are equal before the law.” ~ Aristotle

  4. I agree that everyone should be free to live as they choose. Bigotry still exists here in the states and it is not a free country until everyone has equal rights. That goes for minorities as well. Hate gets mankind into all manner of trouble. Inequality is a depressing subject. I’m not referring to your post. There is much to write about on this subject.

The quote of Aristotle is right on the money.

    • there is inequality on so many levels in so many ways–we just have to keep fighting it

  5. What I love most is that people are talking about this. Really talking. Examining what they think, believe and why.
When people honestly drag out their feelings and beliefs and openly examine them, calmly discuss them, logically explore them, then we’re one step closer to reaching freedom.

    • what a beautiful way to look at it — it is bringing things out in the open that help resolve them

  6. It makes perfect sense to me. It makes the heart feel good to feel this.

    • sometimes I have a hard time commiting my beliefs to my blog or my writing–but some things just cry out for us to stand up for what we believe in
