Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! (Photo credit: blacklord)

Like all of you, I have been busy, busy, busy and have not been able to read all the blogs I want to lately, but know I will be visiting all of you as soon as things slow down a bit. I want to wish you all a heartfelt Merry Christmas.

I leave you with some lovely and wise words to ponder:

“Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.” ~ Calvin Coolidge

  12. Merry Christmas LouAnn. I hope your day has been amazing!!

    • Happy Day after Christmas!

      • Same to you :). You and I are obviously both early risers even after a busy Christmas Day!! LOL

      • we are crazy ladies – but I have a Chapters card that is burning in my pocket–

      • Shop, shop, shop, shop!! We are dragging my parents out shopping today too. I don’t think my Dad’s very happy about it, but oh well!! Poor Bryan (our oldest) – his main present was a very expensive pair of headphones, and as luck would have it, they don’t work. I feel really bad, so I am going to try and get him another set today :). Have fun!

      • always something to fix- just came back from Chapters-am happy now–good luck with your shopping trip

      • Oooh, Chapters – one of my very favourite stores :). What books did you buy??? We had an amazing Boxing Day. Bryan’s headphones were sold out at Future Shop, but at the last minute I thought of EB Games, and they had one set left. Yay!!! Then my Mom and I went to Reitmans and got amazing bargains. Everything was on sale, and then they took another 50% off. Wahoo!!! I got 3 pairs of dress pants for work for $15.00 each!! Now I’m exhausted :).

      • I got “The End of Your Life Book Club” by Will Schwalbe–looks just excellent and I read great reviews about it, and “The Mindful Writer”–I always need a writing book to keep me enthused and inspired–and they were both 30% off–a good day. You got some real bargains–we also went to some games stores as my youngest son was with us. Now get some rest my friend!

      • Yes, I intend to relax tonight because I have to work tomorrow :(. Only for one day though, and then I’m off until January 7th!! Your day of shopping sounds fabulous too. I purposely didn’t go near any book stores because I have a huge “to be read” pile that I need to get to first :).

      • that never stops me if I have a gift card–and I did–sorry about the day of work but the rest sounds good

      • TBM and I are up and waiting for our New Year’s mystery photo–Mr Bunny is sleeping in, but he will be up soon–pitter patter, let’s get atter

  13. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! πŸ˜€

  14. Beautiful pic and quote, Lou Ann. I’m also finding it very difficult to keep up with everybody here. Hope your Christmas was a joyful one. πŸ™‚

  15. Lovely!

When I find I’m getting too busy, I take some time off from my blogging world…but it’s always fun to catch up on what I’ve missed, and to spend some time with digital friends. Hope your Christmas was merry and bright! ~ Sheila
