Nostalgic today. This is my 21 year old son Tyler about fifteen years ago — adorable isn’t he? This is my first real picture on this blog–what do you think? (He would die of embarrassment if he knew I was doing this).

Hard to believe he was once that small. Toooo cute!
I know–he was so little for so long and now he is 6’1″ (and I think still growing)
He might be. I grew ’till I was 21 or 22.
see I thought so – thanks for backing me up 😉
Moms are awesome. And ruthless.
true and true
Awwwwww…..it goes so quick! 😉
Xx
tell me about it!
Wait till your grandchildren are 21- that Does make you feel time has flown !!
not sure that is going to happen any time soon –I am going to be an old, old, old grandma
cutie ~ did he just get caught doing something naughty there? i remember that look because i used to give it… “who me?”
it is a “who me” look isn’t it–ha ha–he still has the same look today
Ahh, very cute! As moms we are allowed to post all the kid pictures we desire – it is an unwritten law. 🙂
thank you – I appreciate your support on this-ha ha
He’s a total cutie. And yes, he might kill you but more likely, he’ll be secretly happy. 🙂
we just won’t tell him –though one of his roommates is a follower of my blog — I don’t think he reads it though — do you Charles?
Well, that’s sometimes why we don’t tell our grown children what we are doing!
that is true — what they do not know, will not hurt them
He might play at being embarrassed but deep down he’d be proud.. He’s such a cutie pie there!!!
you said the right thing – lol
What’s to be embarrassed about? He’s too cute. He should be showing that one around. I have many pictures of the kids that will come out later in life..
I made stew tonight – good call.
good – I hope you liked it — I got the stewing beef today so I am making it tomorrow
–it is a cute pic isnt it — I like how you are planning ahead
Nice photo of your son. Mine doesn’t want me posting pics of him. Thanks so much for the support you’ve given to me through your comments on my blog. They inspire me to keep writing. I’ve given you the Reader Appreciation Award. If you want to accept, check it out at http://bellybuttonblues.wordpress.com/.
someone else commented that because we are moms it is within our constitution to be able to post pics of our kids (LOL)
I am honoured to receive the Reader Appreciation Award from you–thank you so much Teresa.
Beautiful boy!
so cute, can’t believe fifteen years has flown by
too fast isn’t it!
I enjoy looking at other people’s children. Time flies as they say. Would you want, if you could, reverse the aging process and go back to when your two were little ones?
yes, yes, yes– although I would leave a few parts out
So sweet! Oh, my poor son will feel the embarrassment of the many pics I’ve already posted on my blog one day very soon…
as one commenter said, mothers are both wonderful and ruthless (the ruthless in our quest to embarrass our kids)
And what’s great is, they, in turn, can go on to embarrass their kids one day. This really warms my heart.
it is the real circle of life – lol
Sons… 🙂 🙂 🙂
yes 🙂
What a cutie! This hits a chord with me. My sons are now 35 and 30, and yet to me they are still (always will be) little boys.
I know – we have them locked in our hearts don’t we?
A cutie for sure.
Thanks Charlene-did you see the stew recipe I posted for yesterday – I know you asked for it
Great choice for your first real picture on your blog!
thank you Rosy–you always know how to say the right thing!
How cute, well chosen and he need not be embarrassed.
I will tell him–just as soon as I tell him I put him on my blog
very cute indeed.. my kids would KILL me if they knew I blogged AND had pics of them.
so we won’t tell them
heck no!
He is wicked cute! My girls both know I post pictures of them and don’t seem to mind, thankfully! They grow up fast for sure. Our 13 year old is taller than I am. But I’m only 5’4″, so I suppose that is not too much of a stretch! : )
good for your girls – I have to look up to both of my boys
Very cute – 😀
I am a little prejudice–but glad you recognized it too!
I am a little prejudice–but glad you recognized it too!
🙂
Love it. Keep the ‘real pics’ coming! I love that he doesn’t kno you put it up here. Keep that happening too! 😉 x
I will unless his roommate tells him–his roommate is a follower of my blog–but I do not think he reads me
Aaadorable!
I thought so too!
