All things seem possible in May.” ~   Edwin Way Teale

  1. It’s what I believe in May through April…..Diane

  2. I LOVE May. I was just telling hubby the other day that May was my favorite month. It’s almost beautiful everywhere during the month of May. How’s it going, Lou? xo

    • Brigitte–I almost sent the Mounties out to find you–so glad to hear from you ((hugs))
I love May too– I got married in May

  3. May has been wonderful for me this year. So many possibilities, and nature is so beautiful now. My favorite time of year is the fall, but I’ve always fallen in love in the spring. ;-)

  4. May always feel like the ‘real’ start of a new year for me. I love seeing everything coming back to life, including me!

    • I love the way one day there are no leaves and the next day it is beautifully shady

  5. Absolutely love May…..spring gardens are beautiful, weather is warming up and you don’t have to wear boots and winter coats!

  6. …rough winds do shake the darling buds of May.
Like a big hair dryer, May is the wind tunnel to the triple digits months. I’m going to enjoy it while it lasts.

    • me too – don’t like the really hot months–hope it is not crazy hot and humid this year

  7. Now that you mention it- I reckon May is about as good as it gets for possibilities. I should put my nose to the grind stone but have no motivation. Tee-hee. I’m terrible. :-)

    • grind stones are unpleasant anyway–enjoy this wonderful month of May

      • I am liking May as much as I can. Our beautiful month was really April but green leaves of the trees and shrubs are really pretty now. I like spring but really enjoy fall a bit more. Have no idea why.

        Thanks for the reply.

      • I love the fall too – though spring is my second favourite season – our April was cool and rainy–though I kind of like that kind of weather

  8. I’ve always loved May since I was a kid…. mainly because June was right after which meant the end of school and a summer of bliss. (See what I did, there? :) ) May does give you a kind of refreshing feeling of anticipation and this year it’s no different. Now if only the sun could be coaxed out for longer periods of time, everything would be perfect.

    • ah, summer of bliss–you are my clever girl

I will let you borrow our sun for awhile – he is not being shy here

  9. It’s strange to read all the bliss about spring – May – when in the antipodes, it’s red leaves and first fires and getting out the woolies…

  10. I find bliss in the sunshine of May :)

    • that does not surprise me– I bet you bring sunshine wherever you go (tell your husband that–a reader called me a delight today and I am going to make sure I tell my husband!)

      • LOL!!! He says to tell you that he tried to be a ray of sunshine this morning, and I rained on his parade. He is totally hyper this morning and woke me up at 5:30 and has not shut up since. He’s working today with my youngest son, and I’m going to miss him so much – NOT! LOL – just kidding. :)

      • you are so funny–

      • :)

  11. as a displaced yankee living in virginia, my bliss is october, november and often december. blue, blue skies, no humidity in the sixties and 70′s during the day and 50′s at night. spring here holds all the hints of summer-so i’m take my bliss in the fall.

    • I too love the fall–been a little too warm around here of late–was nice until the weekend, then got too warm for my taste–had to put the AC in
