Very cool. thanks for sharing it with all of us.
glad you liked it
Joseph Campbell was a very special man. Thanks for sharing. I am definitely following my bliss today.
following your bliss is good!
A truthful and lovely quote.
thank you — I liked it too
LOVE this quote. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for this morning as I started my day with many decisions to make.
glad to be of service –
Lovely my friend
Cheers
Choc Chip Uru
thank you – glad you are back
Oooh, I really like that π. I’m not feeling quite as blissful today as I was yesterday because I am back to work (yuck!) but I feel bliss calling to me from home and it’s almost time to go home and be reunited π.
see you found your bliss–it is waiting for you at home
Ahhh, I walked in the front door of my house and bliss enveloped me in peace and happiness. The best part of home bliss today is that my hubby is still on holidays so supper is already being cooked for me π. Did you find bliss today LouAnn? I sure hope so!
except when I went for my flu shot–I was none too blissful but it is over so I am back to my bliss–where is that bottle of wine–just a glass–that is my limit
It’s good you got your shot – just think of how unblissful it would be if you got the flu
. Hope you enjoyed your wine
.
they have been talking about how bad it could get so I thought for once I would be smart
It is becoming a really bad flu year isn’t it? We had two very different types of flu go through our house in the early Fall, and that was the first time I had to pull out the thermometer in years!! We have since had our flu shots, so I am really hoping that’s it for us this year
.
I sure hope so too–it is miserable and in some cases, life threatening
I’m counting that Joe was telling the truth, LouAnn. (It’s one of my most favorite quotes. Thank you for sharing it here.)
it gives me hope, and hope translates to bliss
Excellent reply! Hope is sweet.
No. 1 that open door is so, so inviting – looks like you’d be stepping into the Garden of Eden.
But no. 2 – you’ve actually made my day with this quote, reminding me that walls can dissolve by our attention to our dreams. It was really powerful to me today : thank you.
glad this spoke to you —
Love the quote.
thanks Peg–did you like the open door–that took some thought and research
You are one smart cookie!
aww shucks
I have carried this quote around with me for decades. It’s perfect!
glad I found it–the fact that you carry it around gives it credence for me
I just love Joseph Campbell!
he seems to have quite a fan club–glad I found him
Lovely quote and great photo to go along with it!
thanks for noticing the open door–took me a while to find it–had to travel all the way there and back
I have a “thing” for doors. I always take pictures of interesting doors when we travel.
I like doors too – except my front door which I cannot unlock
Oh I so hope that is true!
me too
love that one ~ my very chic & cool “favorite aunt” said that to me when i was a kid and i never forgot it, or her
what a nice reminder
Oooo… LouAnn, I love that quote. Yesterday I bought beautiful Irises for myself and put them in vases in my kitchen. The blue is so vibrant. They’re gorgeous. I did this instead of going for a walk.
Great picture, too.
glad you liked the pic- love irises–better than a walk anyday
Ah, I love the quote. And the photo is perfect…beckoning to walk through the arched door! I love your new theme…your one word! ~ Sheila
Thanks Sheila–and I love you analysis of the open door–perfect
Ah, can I have a cup of tea with this photo?
yes and some scones
Sorry you lost my interest at the mention of the name Llantrisant. some b***** stole my jacket, my car keys, my cash, and my credit cards from my hotel room then did a Bonnie and clyde across the country robbing one person only – me.
And I was in the shower when said theft occurred.
Not my favourite place.
I would not like the place either if I were you–not that I even know where it is–I just found the pic of an open door and liked it
You can find the whole sorry tale here
