Ha! LOVE. THIS.
me too – no explanation required!
I need to find someone to needlepoint that on a pillow for me.
I would volunteer except I do not know how to needlepoint–I can sew on a button though–
Just finished mending a female jock strap – that’s as far as my sewing enthusiasm goes these days. Oh, the joys of kids hockey.
ha ha
Too funny, great to start the day with a chuckle
happy to oblige!
That needs to hang in my room. HDT was a wise man!
I think that needs to hang in all of our rooms as a reminder!
OTHFAB,
Little known fact is that HDT was often writing about Le Clown.
Le Clown
ha ha ha – a little known fact I am not glad I am aware of–has Le Clown had several lives?
OTHFAB,
Only a man who had several lives could be as wise as a French-Canadian Le Clown.
Le Clown
that should have been obvious to me – then again, I am not one for the obvious
btw–what do you think of the election–or are you not politically inclined (remember, I just started following you–so do not know all the ins and outs of your opinions)
OTHFAB,
I’m disappointed by the turn-out, but not surprised. Also, I don’t think they will have anything going for them when it comes to the “separatist” mandate of the party, being that they are minority party. On the other hand, the PQ is a socialist party, and that part I like. I mean, they already abolished the Liberal potential raise of tuitions…
Eric
at first I was not too sympathetic about the tuition (as ours is so high in Ontario) but then I thought about it–and who wants to make higher education any harder to get–and when you budget for a certain amount then how do you make it up–so then I was and am sympathetic
glad the referendum seems to be off the table–though weren’t they talking ten years down the road anyway?
I do not pretend to understand politics–but I find it interesting
Now that’s a neat way of blogging on your H…and I happen to love H.D.T.
good – two birds with one stone
awww Henry…what a gem!
he is a gem
Brilliant
wish I had said it–just would not have had the same cache as Thoreau though
Are you going to continue on from H? What demon, indeed? what a cool quote!
I did “I” yesterday and plan on doing J as soon as I think of something
Love it!:) and think I have caught up at last. thank you for a lovely long visit to your blog
